Hearing the word BOS Fund is certainly familiar to everyone, in schools, this is what is always discussed and awaited by the Principal. With the BOS Fund, the school will be able to improve the school.
The central government disburses BOS funds to help schools in running their operations. These funds are used for various purposes, such as purchasing learning tools, maintaining facilities and infrastructure, paying honorariums for non-ASN teachers, and other activities that support the teaching and learning process. In general, the main purpose of BOS funds is to improve the quality of primary and secondary education in Indonesia.
However, in South Tapanuli Regency, the BOS Fund is suspected of having been eroded or extorted by the Inspectorate of South Tapanuli Regency. The BOS Fund was collected by the K3S Officer, the Head of the Principal Group, then handed over to the Inspectorate Officer.
The amount of BOS Fund collected by K3S varies from Rp. 6,000 per student to Rp. 10,000 per month for each school in South Tapanuli Regency for Elementary School level.
The findings of this case, which has really tarnished the South Tapanuli Inspectorate Institute, began when Arnes Arisoca, a law graduate as the head of the P3KI investigation team, the Indonesian Corruption Watch Association, conducted an investigation, according to his duties and functions in various elementary and middle schools in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra on 05/26/2025 in the last week, that there were several school principals in Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency, who said that the principals were gathered in one room at Tahala Elementary School.
In the meeting of the principals led by the K3S official with the initials BL, they were asked for ten thousand rupiah per month for each school, and six thousand rupiah per student if the inspectorate came to the school. said the principal who did not want to be identified.
The statement stating that the collection of ten thousand rupiah per month for each school, which was deposited to K3S, they signed and stamped the school, and the same was true for the six thousand rupiah per student collected when the inspectorate came to the school. In this case, the principal felt very reluctant, because if there were two hundred students in one school, they would have to deposit twelve million rupiah.
It is strongly suspected that this is the extortion game of the South Tapanuli Inspectorate official. For this reason, the North Sumatra Police Chief is requested to examine and process K3S, and the South Tapanuli Inspectorate official, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Indonesia.
The Inspectorate should enforce the law against misappropriation and violations of the use of school BOS funds, not just get the flow of BOS funds, is there a BOS fund in the elementary school BOS technical instructions for the Inspectorate?
A question that aroused the General Chairperson of P3KI Gurdiman Sakti Harahap, S.Kom deployed an investigation team to investigate the BOS fund extortion case in five Tabagsel districts, one of which was South Tapanuli district (Team)
